Costco: T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S20 $699 starting 6/24
Was looking through the Costco flier I received yesterday and saw the Tmobile Samsung S20 5G will be for sale for $699.99 after a $200 instant savings. Seems like a pretty good deal for someone on Tmobile that doesn't have a phone to trade in.
Its listed on page 5 of the 6/24 to 7/26 ad.

The manager who is kind of friend with me also showed me the other good deals they had yesterday (Not sure which of the deals are only restricted to July 4th week but the S20+ and Ultra are for sure going to last to the end of this month). One good deal according to him was the LG V60 thin Q 5G Dual screen that actually comes with 3 screens! Not sure how good are other aspects but I can't swallow LG compare to Samsung!
Then One Plus 8 5G 128 GB is $700
One Plus 7T Pro 5G 256 GB is $900 (Good deal IMHO)
iPhone SE 64 GB (Budge oriented iPhone 11) is $360
Overall, to the manager's recommendation, best deal is regular S20 for $700 but I really like Ultra that regularly is about $1400, now on sale for $1050 (Possibly the BEST smartphone with multiple cameras and unbeliever max resolution of 108 MP ! ! ! if you can believe... Guess all I need is to hit that jackpot soon!

The new LGs are miles and miles better than their old phones. I own the G8X as one of my devices, and it handles multitasking 3 apps at the same time without issue. Super comfy to hold like a book one handed and is a killer multitasker. Getting more done on it now than my Note. Upgrading to the V60 dual screen for the dual 6.8 inch displays, more ram, and 5000 mah battery.

No, and please don't misunderstand me as I'm a fan of LG products especially their appliance over Samsung and their TVs/Monitors, equal to Samsung. But not their phones. Maybe this is due to my lack of enough data knowledge on their more recent models or the over satisfying quality of any Galaxy phone, over anything else in the world. BUT the real question for you: If you have the option of getting either this or the flagship of Samsung, S20, despite the real-life price difference of this LG being at least $200 cheaper currently at Costco, that we ignore for this eg sake, Which one you would use if aspects and functionality is the only selection criteria and "Why". I'm seriously eager to know and no sarcasm here, especially as you said, multitasking that is one of my features can theoretically be done better on this LG due to much larger real estate, as you say. So please contribute, if you can. I may change my mind!
Samsung if I wanna show off by getting the ultra, going out and taking photos, and showcasing the camera system, LG if I wanna trendset, and get a lot done in a short amount of time. Everything I own has two screens because I'm a power user. I was excited for the Note 9 when I got it because you could put apps in windowed mode. How much did I use that? Like a dozen times, but I'd constantly have a video running PiP, and then switch through apps. Dual screens means I can not only keep a full window open for videos that may not support Pip, but for other content as well. Copy and pasting between apps with ease, and having 3 apps open means I'm working 50% more efficiently to get the same thing done than I would on my samsung.
Trust me I've been pining for the ultra for a week now trying to find a good enough deal to justify it, but there is literally none. That phone will be $300 in 2 years. The V60 may be a relic of days gone by and have a cult following.
Reports stating V60 getting 2 days of battery life from normal usage, in a single screen setting, which is an excellent bench. S20 ultra has same capacity but lasts half as long because of the 300 Samsung apps that run, and the 1440p display.
Oh, the kicker for me? HEADPHONE JACK. V60 still has it. Samsung turned it's back on enthusiasts of their product and sucked them into their own version of apple.
Yes Samsungs are great devices, but my note 9 is still a great device, if I upgrade itll just be more of the same, but with slightly less features than I had before, and twice as much money. The LG G8X has literally been a beast, and I'm thirsty to maximize the real estate, not worry about my battery life, and love my phone again, knowing its mine.
Oh what also shattered the Samsung spell was that they TARGETED an offer at me for $13.78 a month for the s20+, and I took screencaps btw, and while I was trying to check out the entire browser crashed, and i had no way to recover the offer. Been on calls and chats with them for 5 days now, and they wont honor it, stating that the phone has different prices at different times of the day.
