Why are people still hoarding gloves? Aside from staining wood and cleaning up feces? They don't help or prevent covid at all
Gloves create a barrier between you and whatever you touch. It's just an additional layer of protection when you're out in public or when using household cleaners. You still have to wash your hands though because micro tears can develop in the gloves, especially if they're low quality.
I also don't think people are "hoarding" gloves. It's just that the supply is low because the stock has been prioritized for hospitals, just like N95 masks and disposable surgical masks in general.

Most probably aren't hoarding. With constant disinfecting and chemical use, one goes through gloves quickly. We require everyone at work to wear them when using Clorox wipes or disinfecting spray. With everyone wiping their work area down, a lot of gloves are gone through weekly.

Probably the same reason they are hoarding Clorox wipes. Don't touch your nose/face and wash your hands...wipes aren't necessary. most aren't even following the proper directions to get full benefit from the wipes anyhow, they might as well just use a baby wipe to wipe surfaces.

It depends on particular store you are checking. Some stores have stock
