Have 2 of these shelves. They are great, they are deeper than most other shelves so make sure you have the room. They are very strong and come with pegs to lock them to other shelves next to them making them stronger as a unit. Very sturdy and well worth the money even at $60. Don't hesitate to buy.
These have been this price for at least a week or 2. I bought 2 last time I was at Lowes and my 18 month old had fun helping me put them together. They are a really nice size and deeper than some of the others, yet light enough to drag to another spot in your garage if the first spot doesn't work. I tried mine on the side of my 2 car garage but had to move them to the back because I wasn't gonna be able to open my car doors otherwise.
40"x24" is exactly what we needed to fit a specific area in our garage. Free shipping to our home and an additional $2.50 credit that showed up for using the Lowe's card obviously helped to seal the deal. Thanks for posting, OP!
For anyone with Costco membership, they have the Whalen 5 Rack Industrial Grade rack for $60. Just bought 1 yesterday and its very sturdy.. might consider getting another 1 today.. believe size 72 (h) x 48 (w) x 24 (l)

I saw these at Lowe's and was almost swayed to them a few weeks ago. They are built much better than the typical plastic piece of crap. I went with Gladiator only because of fear of the unknown high weight capacity one takes on in a newly growing home. But for the average individual, these would do just fine.

50 bucks for a different name doesn't seem worth it.

HD doesn't have any 24" x 40" HDX shelves for $35 that I see.
They have a 36" x 18", which looks similar for $35.
All of the people posting 14" deep shelves and comparing them to these shelves crack me up. On the next episode we'll compare a limo to a compact car.

Not worth 15 dollars extra for this IMHO.
