    I wouldn't do it. It was fun until the plastic gears broke due to the amount of extra torque and speed. Power tool batteries got so hot you wouldn't want to touch it it. I ended up junking the modded ones and got new replacements. No more mods for me. Not worth the downtime for replacement parts to arrive. Just a buy the fastest one you can afford and leave it stock.

    ps: sorry Lightning McQueen. you were fast but your gears really fell off. Frown

    We had one like it, same brand just a different theme. Kids loved it at 4-5, but at 6, they pick a bike instead.
