I purchased the 1A rated unit around Black Friday but my wife hated it. It made her feel uncomfortable with how it bent/flexed so I have been waiting on a 1AA to go on sale. Hopefully this one is better!

They were out of stock at the 2 closest stores to me. I ordered from another and just got a call from the store saying they were out and we're cancelling the order. I went ahead and tried a 4th store. We'll see what happens.

These are honestly too heavy to lug around, I have a couple but always reach for my other step ladders, this thing is heavy. If I need an extension ladder, I pull out my fiberglass extension

I picked up the Gorilla 18' one for $99 last week. How does this compare? Should I return and get this?

Awesome ladder, but very very heavy. It's a major chore when needing to drag it upstairs and all around the house through multiple door ways. But I do like the ladder despite the hassle of moving it.

I bought an 18' foot reach because it was "just enough". I ended up returning it for this 22 footer. The extra 4 feet was totally worth the extra $50 and extra weight for an upcoming project. Made me feel safer. And $50 is cheaper than a trip to the Emergency Room.

Is this one or the Lowe's brand one better? (Little Giant)

There's a little bit of "bounce" when climbing up and when fully extended to max. I'm a heavy guy though.

I have a similar ladder and it is without a doubt the most stable ladder I've ever used but it is heavy. For most people I think pulling the trigger comes down to the decision of whether you want something to hang things around the house (aluminum or fiberglass ladder) or for bigger projects that requires longer periods up high (this).

Any way to get around the $30 shipping fee? I do not have a vehicle big enough to fit this ladder inside (small hatchback).

Edit: nevermind, looks like it will fit!

That may have been the 250lb limit one... This is 375lbs.
