But seriously there are some electronics in there and rubber dampeners. Not to mention that there are certain engineering costs that go into designing such fans that arent as noisy as others.

Compare with luxury bags, electronic products are not overpriced, they worth every penny. Btw all cpu and gpu chips made from dust, but they priced hundreds dollars or even more.
