Thats not correct, there are some 7 series models that are IPS panel. Recent costco booklet mentioned that its IPS panel (picture attached). Rting mentions these 7 series 4K IPS panel tv as one of best for computer monitor.

A lot of folks are talking great about the TCL TVs. How many of them have the TV for more than 2 years?
I ask because I read hundreds of TCL TV reviews saying that the TV went dead after about an year and there's no support they have received. Can any TCL TV owner confirm here that they have had the TV for more than 2 years with no issues?

Very good policy. I purchased a Chrome book laptop from them and In the 2nd (close to 3rd) week it froze 3 times for no reason. Back it went.

Just thought I'd add my .02 cents. I just warrantied a TCL 4 series 55" to costco, it was an amazing tv for 1.8 years, than went dead... If it weren't for costco warranty I'd be a very unhappy customer. I'm not sure if I'd do it again, I've read a lot of people have had similar issues. Currently leaning towards a Vizio M-series personally, Costco doesn't seem to carry tcl currently, I assume they're waiting for the new stuff to release

They've had at least 2 Vizio models in the past but I think it's more lg, Samsung and tcl. My brother in-laws lg lasted about a year and it stopped working. He had a worse experience with hitachi

I was hopeful when I saw the booklet but its either a misprint or based on the 2019 models since I saw this model in store and I'm fairly positive its a VA panel. As far as I can tell only the 65" is IPS out of the 2020 LG's that Costco carries.

I just bought the 2019 55" UM7300 in May and was considering returning it for a 2020 but not if they're VA panels.
