Reminds me of that scene in Pulp Fiction when Jimmy explains why he buys gourmet coffee

I mixed this with Kirkland's dark Columbian which I couldn't drink due to bitterness. It has toned it down but I still can't picture myself drinking it without half'n half

These were on sale at giant grocery for around the same price. They must be liquidating these.

Cheaper than my local grocery store chain that has had the wake up roast on sale for $4.99 for the last month.

Office equivalent of "shovelware", something to drink that's not water and helps keep the eyelids open early in the morning. Some argue that Folgers tastes better, but that's kind of like bragging for being in second-to-last-place. It's what I've come to expect burning in a pot when I go to a shop to get tires installed. In other words, there's a place for this coffee, even if it's not your favorite.

Lol. This is spot on. I also believe Folgers is superior and doesn't taste as much like dirt and ground up newspapers as the Max. You have not experienced work coffee "club" disappointment like learning the office "barista" was reusing Max grounds and only applying half the recommended scoops per pot. Never again. Maxwell house is the Burger King of the coffee world. Only used when desperate and nothing else is available.

Caffeinated? Did they remove it and then add it back in or something?

Also, I want to meet the man or woman who drinks decaf Maxwell House and ask them what led to such poor taste.
