Bed Bath Beyond online has allowed their 20% off coupon to work on Miele vacuums in the past (even with sale prices).
Not sure if still allowed or if BBB even has sales on these anymore.

Edi: Someone else mentioned that it was the C1 Turbo Team. Not the same unit which is currently $299 (the C1 classic).
Second -- consider a Sebo. It's like a less-pretty Miele, but with longer warranty and easier to maintain.
I spent WAY too much time looking at vacuums this spring. Ended up getting a Sebo D3 from a tiny shop in rural Iowa, and couldn't be more satisfied.
I have robot vacuum doing most of the work now.
I love it, after initially being concerned about maneuverability. It's easy to use, and far better than anything I've had before (admittedly, lower end vacuums for sure)
