Seems to be a purchase limit of 3 (either that, or it's now out of stock/dead).

Good deal. Can buy different brand at Home depot in 4 packs for about $22 or so usually.

Edit: confirmed max 3 purchase. Even in separate orders.

Edit 2: 4 pack (different brand) available at HD for $18.

Great deal for a quality brand item. Just make sure the light output is enough for where you want to put it. I started replacing all lights around the house early on when these LED cans were still very expensive. One of the lessons I learned was that any lumens number less than 1000 wasn't bright enough for my purposes, especially when you have dimmers and can bring the brightness down as needed. In other words, this model might not be suitable for anything larger than a small bathroom or such.

Anyone have a suggestion for a shallow led retrofit kit that's screw in like this? I bought one from Philips and my existing box isn't deep enough.

6" cans are not as aesthetically appealing as 3/4" cans.

Unsure how that's relevant considering this is a remodel unit.. meaning this is for someone that already has 6" cans and doesn't want to rip them out to install new LED cans?

Nor would they want to re-drywall to replace with a smaller can Smilie

personally, I prefer the 'hockey puck' style slim LED lights.. but I picked up some of these for areas that I don't want to rip out the existing cans.

So if I have 6 inch cans with regular bulbs, this would work for me? Need to look up how it hooks up to the existing can to get it.
Also, Any cons to doing this versus replacing the cans outright? I'm not sure if you can remove can inclosures, but I do have some with attic access, so I assume those are replaceable.

Does the screw in receptacle drop the voltage or can you just cut it off and direct wire?
