Picked up this monitor and taking it back. The version that OD is selling is a discontinued model that looks like it is years old, with a big clunky stand, and large bezels. Which is deceiving because if you look up the exact model and part number (UM.JE1AA.D01) on Acer's Web site, it shows a completely different monitor. To make it even more confusing the box says "EB1" which the Acer Web site notes is its "NEW" model.
It's not too big. But you'd have buy a second monitor if you use this one as a chair.
- 31.5" WQHD IPS Display
- 178° viewing angle
- 2560 x 1440 screen resolution at 60Hz
- 4ms (gray-to-gray) response time
- 1 DisplayPort, 1 DVI (with HDCP), 1 HDMI port
- Built in Two 3W speakers
- VESA mount
- 3-year manufacturer's limited warranty

Seems to be a really good price for a 32" 1440p 4ms IPS display with speakers. Am I missing something that makes this not so great?

Vesa mount and 300 nits brightness. Not a bad deal at all relative to recent covid pricing.

In store pickup only is annoying but OK I guess.

This is a pretty good deal if you don't care about the 60 Hz refresh rate and in-store pickup only.

Thanks for this post OP, I am sooooo torn. 1440p at 32 inches is was less cringy than the usual 1080p. Will have to think this one through. Repped.

I picked this up yesterday at OfficeDepot. Debating on returning and getting LG 32QK500-C https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YGZRQ98 for $50 more instead for the asthetics, newer ports (2x HDMI, 1x DP, 1x mDP), and its newer.

What are some thoughts on the LG?

No FreeSync. Obviously, that only matters if you plan to game on it

Thanks ordered one. But is the image on OD site correct? Seems like Acer and other sites have a different picture. Not a big deal, just curious

if it's spec'd at 300 brightness and my old (but broken, need to be replaced) monitor with 350 running at 80% brightness, does the math apply such that 300 is greater than 280 and I should be happy with it -- all things aside?
