1920x1080 on a 27 inch monitor looks terrible in my opinion just a heads up
I consider that to be a plus.
Pixels can only stretch so far before 1080p starts to look bad. Great price for a monitor of this size but it would be better if at least 1440p. Many will want vesa mountable as well, but for the price this is a great starter monitor.

Only downside - no speakers. For those who want to minimize desk clutter, it could be an issue.
I consider that to be a plus.

320cd (typ) / 400cd (Min) Brightness

Seems like great price for this monitor.

Is this why the price is so low?

Specs say this is 100x100 mountable. Agree with you on pixels though.

For my use with a gaming laptop and on a proper viewing distance this is actually great so I can use my 2070 to drive it on native res at high FPS for most games. But definitely a specialised use case.

Considering this for a WFH dual monitor setup. Might have to consider this if I can't find a deal on some used Dell U or P series monitors. Don't really play high end games too much, so might not be an issue.
