You beat me to it. I was just about to post this (after buying it myself of course). I've been checking Amazon daily for at least 2 months for a deal like this.

It's a 27" IPS 1440p 2k gaming monitor w/ 144 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms response time, AMD FreeSync, low blue light, built-in speakers, 3.5mm out, VESA, and a 3 year warranty. It comes w/ an HDMI 2.0 cable and power cable.

Keepa.com shows this as the lowest price ever on this item.

Specs:
https://www.viewsonic.com/au/prod...KP-MHD.php

If this monitor has any shortcomings, I can't think of any.

Good deal. Picked up the 1080p (TN) version last week for $225 and it looks pretty good. Kids are happy with the 144hz Fortnite (coming from 60hz).

That one is now priced at $300 for some reason. Very volatile prices for all hardware still.

Only one if someone cares, no height adjustment.

I live not too far from a MicroCenter, so this one is a viable option for me. Any thoughts as to which one people would say is better?

Microcenter one is VA panel and Viewsonic is IPS. Viewsonic is better.

How many hz through hdmi? I'm looking for something above 60 in case the PS5 games will run at a greater speed. Please no pc/Console comments.

$310 was the direct from manufacturer price, so pretty much standard price. '

bad ergonomics and zero gaming features typically found in gaming monitors.

This is more of an in-stock notice than a sale notice. Most high demand 1440/144hz-165hz monitors on Amazon have been sold out for a while.

There are tons of better monitors than this. It's hardly a must have especially compared to ASUS and LG's competition models which retail slightly higher for much better monitors.

Nice. B&H photo was still on back order from 2 months ago with no updates, canceled and am going with this. I can use Amex $30 off deal on this.

So....I bought a 32" Dell curved gaming monitor that just got delayed. Should I cancel that one?

Thanks for review. I will be taking advantage of vesa mount so ergo is a non-issue for me. Is there any gaming monitors in this price range that support hdr?

The link in my post has side-by-side comparison ability with likely priced and competing models. I would start there before trusting anyone's personal opinion. Rtings benchmark testing are very well done and professional.

LG's models almost all support HDR in this price range. You will always pay more for an LG monitor over Viewsonic, but you'll easily see where you money went in side by side comparisons.

I'm not well versed in the monitor world, would this be good for content creation?
