This seems to undercut prices on Dell's website extensively and is about the same price as what you would pay if you bought 3rd party upgrades like ram and ssd and upgraded yourself.

Intel Core i7-10750H Processor 2.6GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti
32GB DDR4-2933 RAM
1TB Solid State Drive
Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
SD Card Reader
Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650+Bluetooth
15.6" UHD+ InfinityEdge Touch Anti-Reflective Display

What's the battery life given the screen resolution?

4K display, everything is upgradable inside so the upper specs ain't necessary, it does have an extra ssd slot and ram is upgradable

Plus, factor in your time. I've been shopping on and off for a new machine since late 2019 and bet I've spent more in time looking than I'll spend eventually.

Yup. Thx That's the XPS Smilie

But given all the higher end hardware, how long will this run without being plugged in?

Dell's Black Friday in July Sale ran from July 1 - July 14 last year. I expect something similar this year, it'd be crazy to buy a Dell right now this close to that sale - there's significant discount potential. $2200 and a 1650ti? No thanks

yeah same with me and I am building one this time (for first time) and what has happened is since I took so long shopping for parts.... better ones come out in the meantime so then I sell sealed parts I already had bought!

So all that money I saved with good deals by waiting has been wiped out by losses on reselling them for better aprts. So next time I better give myself a time limit to buy all parts and be done with it!

Depends on your use. Cnet posted 494 minutes of video play. That's likely not using the GPU at all for video playback.

How is the battery on the 4K model? I'm thinking of picking up the new XPS15 and trying to figure out between 4K and regular screen.

Thanks

I hope Microcenter eventually carries some of the lower end configurations. It's really easy to upgrade this model.

Battery life seems to be around 6-7 hours of just web browsing and watching videos. Good for my needs but up to you to decide.
