Already an account member. Neither code applied to my account. I want to put out a PSA about CBS All Access as I've been burnt twice by their deceptive promos. First I signed up March 26, 2020 for the free month and applied a Slickdeals coupon to get a second month stacked on top. My account page even showed next billing date of May 26, 2020. However my PayPal account was charged the full no-commercial plan price of $9.99 on April 26, 2020. Instead of complaining to customer service I just went on my account and attempted to cancel at which time I was offered two more months at $4.99 which I took the offer meaning my May 26, 2020 and June 26, 2020 bill dates were to be $4.99. Again, TODAY, June 26,2020 I was charged $9.99. This time I called customer service and told them this is the second time I've been burnt by their deceptive billing. I was offered no explanation, but luckily was refunded the full $9.99 for this June bill. This was an acceptable refund, but I told the customer service rep my plan was to switch to the yearly billing of commercial free plan at $99.99 but after these billing blunders am considering just cancelling outright!
When you've got HBO, Netflix, Disney and Hulu to choose from, why would something as lame as CBS all access even be an option
For me... I wanted to check out Picard (didn't care for, stopped after watching 3 episodes). But why I'm keeping it... I have an elderly family member who cut the cord and she uses this to watch live CBS and watch her shows she misses from having CBS on demand. So it is an option for those that cut the cord and want to watch the CBS exclusives that aren't on the other streaming platforms.
Edit: Want to further clarify that she cannot get CBS over her antenna for whatever reason. We've tried 3 different antennas... plus antennas don't provide an On Demand experience she was used to when she had a cable box.

That billing issue may be specific to PayPal's recurring billing structure. I encountered this with another vendor and we had to do a work around (cancel and resubscribe at a different rate) to deal with PayPal's handling of agreed on interval billing.

After posting my experience in other CBS All Access threads it appears it is most likely a PayPal billing issue.
Either way I'm pretty fed up with having to play a game and call customer service and will probably cancel during this month's service.
