Lowe's has their 12 gallon (48 quart) Commander totes on sale for $4.98. Price is good through July 8th.

FYI, Lowe's tends to roll out their sale prices based on timezones, so if you aren't seeing the $4.98 price, it will likely take effect around midnight in your time zone.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I agree that they all can't be stacked. I have the Costco version and HDX version, and can tell the Costco version is much better quality. The top seems thinner on the HDX and still has rough ends as well as off gassing. Since they're the same price, I feel like the Costco version is much better.
Costco is 27 gallon for $7.
IMO, the Costco units, these Commanders from Lowe's, Sam's club version, and the HDX ones from Home Depot are all extremely similar in both design and quality. The main difference is the top design which can cause issues if you try to stack totes from different vendors.

Sweet! I was just going to pick some up at Costco tomorrow for $8 and change because I need them and used all the ones I bought at the last sale. The timing couldn't be better.

These might be the knock offs that break easily. Costco's might be worth the extra cost

Thanks for this. I checked the dimensions for this 12 gallon, and it's quite small at 22x16x12.5
