Vizio has split the M-Series into multiple segments in 2019. This is the M658-G1, which RTings calls part of the M8. This is brighter and has more dimming zones than the M6 and M7 M-Series models you will find elsewhere.
Be careful not to buy the other 65" M Series on the Costco site for the same price – it is the M7 model. Be sure to buy the M658-G1 for the same price.
The RTings review for this lineup is a review of this exact model:

Hopefully it will drop in the next 30 days and I can get Costco to match. If not, oh well, still a great deal at $600. Went into a Best Buy today to look at it and it holds up well even when next to their P-Series panels.
Waiting for a deal on a 70-75 to replace my ks8000. Prices should drop way more once Samsung moves all its plants to qled and Oled production.

The fun part was saving even more on taxes as I am picking it up from New Hampshire ( no tax state)
