However the community is either great or god awful depending on which server you join. Low populated servers = more fun PvE'ing and building your base. High pop servers are just a slaughterhouse of players killing players all day. Very difficult to get going. It has the potential to give you over a 100 hours of entertainment if you really get into it and have some friends that play.
Check out Rust on twitch if you want to see what PVPers are doing. I enjoy PVE/raid servers.
