What's the perk adding a line if you don't *need* it? Currently have 3 lines but don't need it but obviously my monthly will remain the same. What would you do with it?
Mines will go to a friend or extended family member.

I have 5 lines total right now. Free line would be 6.
Thanks! It seems to be a luck of the draw right now.

You can get an extra TMobile Tuesday offer. For example when they give out gift cards you can get another on the extra line.

My rep refused to add a line to my SC plan. Says it is not eligible. Will try again later.
When speaking to a rep, refer to Doc 20Q23. They should look it up and it has all the promo info.

Hi, all. Just chatted with them about adding this free line but didn't qualify. I am on ....
T-Mobile ONE All-In Promo
$80.00/mo
Applied discounts and promotions:
$10 AutoPay Discount
$20 Insider Hook Up
$40 This One's on Us (AAL) (Additional Lines)
$5 AutoPay Discount (Additional Lines)

Said I didn't qualify because I was on a discounted plan, Boo! Happy with what I have already, though

Anyone who is having trouble with a rep, refer to Doc 20Q23.

If you have at least two paid voice lines, you get a third voice line free. No questions asked.

If you are being refused the offer on SC just try again.
On my 1st try I had t-Force and 611 chat going at the same time and both offered the free line to my SC account immediatley on my asking about the promo.
611 chat would not waive the fees but T-Force offered to waive fees without me even asking so went that route.

Over 2 years ago, when Tmobile had 2 lines for $100 plus tax.. they had a promo for 2 free lines.. just pay taxes.. so I now have 4 lines for $100 plus tax.. I got one changed to unlimited data for my tablet, no extra charge.. that was the best deal ever.. but this one is still great deal.

Worked for me via iMessage. Was able to add a line and qualify for the 50% off iPhone SE 64GB deal at the same time!

I called and was able to get the free voice line. I used a spare sim card. No charges so far. Thanks OP!

Can a mod please change the title back to the original I posted yesterday? It's not Existing single line... It's existing two paid voice lines or more. I feel the thread title and info was changed and it's not correct and confusing some users.

YMMV: called 611, didn't qualify because I'm military but they gave me a $30 credit if I wanted to open another line. I bit and instead of just a sim i grabbed the iPhone SE. Love smaller phones. Winner winner Smilie
