please let me know how it goes. I hv military plan too. Thx
I called and was told the military plan is not eligible, as I expected. I was not offered the $30 bill credit to add a new line, as one other person mentioned.

seems like the best deal is 50% off (with monthly credits) on the one plus 8 5G ($699 retail price)...anyone agrees/disagrees?

Any good way to combo this on an iPhone deal either online or Costco? And what iPhone models are good?

I called in and got the deal. I have the Magenta Plus plan with 4 lines (4th line free) and was able to get the additional free line (now I have 5 lines). I asked the rep and she said the promotion is called "2020 line on us. Promo 3". For existing customers, you need to have 2 paid lines on a qualifying plan. This promotion can stack with all other existing promotions, including free lines. I was also able to get an iphone SE for 50% off and utilize the just added free line as the "add a line" requirement.

I'm on the original ONE plan, with 2 voice and a discounted data. They were trying to push me to Magenta for the free voice line.

I say no thanks.

That's what I'm going to get, to upgrade my OP6T.

If I currently have four lines, can I drop one line and then request to add back that fourth line as a free line? Or will I lose that phone number and have another one generated?
That wouldn't work or else everyone would do it. T-Mobile wants to add subscriber numbers versus reducing everyone's monthly bill by a line. And if you drop a line, I believe you're not eligible for promos for 90 days. In order to keep the free line long term, I think you have to keep all current lines active for a year before you can drop any.

Agent told me that I had to add two lines to get the third one free, and that the first two lines mentioned in the promo are eligibility for the promotion.

So he was saying you had to have a minimum of two lines already, to be eligible to add two more lines and then get a free additional one.

Gonna try again later.
Unfortunately, since the promo isn't live on T-Mobile's site yet, some of the reps are confused or unaware. Refer to Doc 20Q23 when speaking to a rep if they deny it.

Sweet. Just added an 8th line for a total of $140. Once the sim arrives I'll be converting one of my lines to data.

What does "converting one of my lines to data" mean?

Anyone have info on the supposedly "free" iPhone 11 mentioned earlier in this thread? I know T-Mobile was previously giving $700 off the 11 w/ port and trade-in, but I no longer see that on their website. Is it still around and could it stack with this deal?
