I have Simple Choice 6GB Family Plan with 2 lines plus 3 free promo lines from years ago. I contacted tmobile over imessage and was able to add the free line in less than 5 minutes.

I was charged $10 for the sim card delivery and the customer service rep said the sim card would be activated before being shipped to me.

Where is my 'That Was Easy' button?

Im talking to them via imessage and theyre processing the free iphone 11 deal with me. Only the 64gb one is free. Hipefully itll go through completely.
So free iPhone with a combination of 2 offers i.e. "trade-in" and "add a free line" correct?

Got it through Facebook Messenger. Through T-Mobile app, rep said even though I'm on SC plan, it is a promo plan so not eligible. On Twitter, T-Force said the same thing. On FB, rep said it qualifies and can be added. So rep added the free line, however, can't waive the $30 sim card fee.

Any way to get that waived through chat or t-force?

Would Apple Watch plans count to this?

I was able to add my new 10th line.
Currently have 7 paid line + 2 free lines under the Simple Choice North America plan.
I did have to pay for a new sim card, around $10 something. Did this via the chat with expert on tmobile website.

I'm on Tmobile One grandfathered, along with the hookup. I pay 80 for 2 lines, unlimited. They said I do not qualify.
Ditto. After looking at everything, the "best" deal I can get is switching to ESSENTIALS @ $90+tax/month for 3 lines. But switching out of TMO ONE plan means I lose the following as well:

(1) have to pay taxes (TMO one is included)
(2) no more international data 2G in 210 destinations
(3) no more 4g LTE in mexico/canada
(4) no more gogo-in-flight wifi

Can I get this promo to add a line but wait on getting a phone for it? I'm planning on getting my 12 yr kid his first iphone soon but not till the fall
Why don't you get the phone first and give it to him later? T-Mobile has promo free iPhone with trade-in right now and you can combine it with the free line offer.

I tried. They said there was no doc with that info.
It's apparently the title of the doc but when I called in rep said it was BOGO on the line

I currently have the old tmobile all in one plan with a free line. I talked to someone from facebook, chat and twitter and they all said I have to switch plans to get the extra free line. So not worth it.

So, it's not one free line after all then.

It's BOGO.

Maybe someone need to update the title?
Have you not seen the many posts where existing customers were able to simply add a free line without having to buy a line first? Posts 592, 599, 640, and 641 just to name a few.

If you already have more than 2lines (in my case 6 lines) would the line anything above 2 be the free line? Or will it stack on the line making it 7 lines? Or do you choose whether to stack or not?

I am in the same situation as you. Not worth switching to a new plan for this promo.
