How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

What do you tell them when you give the port-in number "who's carrier the phone # belong to?" Do you just flat out tell them Google Voice?
I don't remember if they asked if they did I would say google voice

It expired yesterday. I think people who chatted early this morning were talking with reps overseas who could still see that promo. I added my free line around noon Eastern and the rep said that iPhone promo expired and the $700 credit would only be free with a port in. I'm likely moving one of my parents over to this free line from Tello anyway, so I said that's fine. But yeah, I think the current promo will require ports from here forward. I ordered a 128 GB iPhone 11 which is $750. Was told I'd get $114 upfront with my trade in and the rest of the $700 would be spread across 24 months as bill credits once we ported in a number on that free line. With all the prepaid services out there, it'd be pretty easy to start service and then port that number into TMo if someone really wanted the iPhone 11.
I had called in very early to add a line and did the iphone 11 offer..at that time i was not required to do a port in..i wonder if simple choice plan was eligible for trade in with this old iphone 11 offer which expired noon eastern yesterday as compared to the revised offer which was put up later which requires port in and is restricted to certain eligible service plans which excludes simple choice..any idea?

Just did the iPhone 11 deal with port in from Google Voice. You have to make sure to pay Google $3 to unlock the number to port. TMO will ask for the phone number, pin, and account number. Phone and account number are the same. For PIN, I setup on the PC through the Google voice site, steps below.
1. On your computer, open Google Voice. 2. At the top left, open Menu Legacy Google Voice. 3. At the top right, click Settings Settings. 4 Click the "Voicemail & Text" tab.5 Next to "Voicemail PIN," enter and confirm your new PIN. 6. At the bottom, click Save changes.

You'd be able to port-in from Google Voice successfully but how do you know it didn't invalid the promo discount?

Wonder if we could port from Verizon or AT&T only MVNO's instead since any MVNO's that use T-Mobile networks are ineligible carriers.

Quick status update: Started chatting via the website chatbot around today 4:05 pm PST, asked for expert, waited about 5-10 min to get connect, and just logged off. Probably 40 minutes total chat.
  • Little wait on website chatbot! Under 10 minutes.
  • Added free line to T-Mobile One plan: FRLTULF2 (2 lines $120, plus $20 per extra line)
  • Wanted to port-in a Google Voice number but she said she needed an account number to port it in, so we skipped that. I will deal with the transfer team (she provided the number) Number transfer Center 24 hours a day / 7 days a week 1-877-789-3106 at a later time when things have died down.
  • Confirmed no plan changes, should keep my add-ons on the prior lines (Kickback, $5/line OnePlus with "Digits on us") let's hope that stays
  • Added the iPhone SE 50% offer (all plans eligible). Free ground shipping. (yesterday there was a free "2DAY" promo on the website.
  • Waived $10 SIM card fee since I had one flying around but she would not waive the line activation fee ($20). I am also seeing an upgrade fee of $20 via email so I I will likely wait until the dust settles and see if I need to call again and see if I can get anything waived or a credit.

Agreed. Perhaps you can find someone to switch you to an equivalent SOC that's eligible for the free line.
Before this promo I had the aforementioned plan with 8 total lines, 2 of which were free from previous promos. 8 lines unlimited everything with 14gb hotspot for $210 + taxes and fees Will be hard to come by. Especially if I get the 9th for free like promised and assured. I think my move to make is nothing, wait for the inevitable charge on my bill, and fight with a supervisor and executive response team and provide them screenshots to the T-Mobile iMessage chat.

Thanks for your help though. (Again more knowledgeable than a T-Mobile rep haha)

Yea my line was added yesterday and I had a SIM card on hand so the rep just activated it. Still no text confirmation or promo wording under the new line (or anywhere on the account).
btw I posted this earlier:

So after multiple back and forth calls. I spoke with a supervisor today and they actually have a sheet with which plans qualify, and which do not. You need to find out your plan code (check OP's wiki on how to do that) and if you are not seeing the promo call in and ask them to check if your plan shows on their list of eligible plans for the free line. I was misinformed saying my plan is eligible when it was not and that's why I haven't seen it show on mytmobile after 24 hours. My plan code is 10SCFM4 just in case anyone else has that same plan you will not qualify.

If you want to get the line removed ask them to cancel out the line under buyer's remorse / non use and it WILL not effect your plan or any other free lines / promotions you have. I know how annoying this has been, but at least we tried!

I don't think 10SCFM4 is the same as 10SCFM4L. I think 10SCFM4 is $120, 10SCFM4L is $150. Be careful! I bet that's why there's a lot of confusion around this plan.
Yeah. T-Mobile app and Twitter said I was eligible and I'm being sent a sim, but we'll see.
I have 10scfm4 with a 15% military discount. It is $120 with $20 added lines.

I was able to get everything back into my account as it was before, luckily. Thanks!

No. I only had four lines. I understand it's a mistake. Luckily, I was able to get everything fixed with one of the phone reps.
