How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

I currently have 2 separate 55+ plans, anyone know of the best route or best game play to get this free line while also trying to get the lowest monthly bill? I'm thinking I would have to merge these 2 accounts into a Magenta Plan and then add the free 5th line? Would I be paying $140 or $160? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Opinions Wanted Please for a friend:

He has Tmobile One Plus Promo which is 2 lines for $100 and with 3rd line free, 20% insider discount, kickback, one plus promo. If he doesn't need the free line but likes to take advantage of future free phones or promos, is he better off paying $16 and move to Tmobile One Plan (4-8) plan? He can definitely get all the perks reinstated so the final cost is just $16 increase for this 4th free line due to plan change really.

Will the plan cost increase ($16/month) more than offset any future phone/plan deals? Say if he changes phone every 2-3 years? Currently can get Netflix cheap-ish shared w/ family anyway so Netflix isn't a perk he'd pursue. Most important is he wants great phone promos in the future. Thanks.

I just got a text that I am scheduled to receive a monthly bill credit for 2020 Apple Activate Promo 3 for the Iphone SE. Thing is I just cancelled everything! DOH!

Phone already set to ship. Received return UPS label.

So learned that a guarantee means nothing and people on SD know more about T-mobile deal than T-mobile reps.

I have the same two paid one free plan, was shot down getting it moved to the 4-8 line version by tforce and 611. The One Plus Promo 2/$100 all-in plan is definitely the red-headed stepchild as far as any additional phone or line promos are concerned.

I have the FRLTUL2LP "2 Lines TMO ONE All In Promo" plan. The 611 rep said my plan is eligible for free line and added the 3rd line to my account last Saturday.

Today the new line shows on my account history stating "This line is on the 2 Lines TMO ONE All In Promo plan for $0.0 per month plus taxes and fees." When I clicked My T-Mobile One plan details, it does not show the "2020 Line On Us (Additional Lines)" promo like other people have.

Should I wait for credits or call to cancel?

I did this last year when they had add 1 and get 1 free and this year was able to add 1 additional free line. My cost had increased by 20$ but i managed to get the kickback added, so effectively turned out to be $10 per month

I'm currently on an eligible plan where we have 3 lines right now. If we ported out one line, could we port it back in to get the benefit of this plan somehow? Any advice would be appreciated.

Any way to take advantage of this if I signed up a while back with the 3rd line free + 20% friends and family code?
No, tried that yesterday. On one of of my accounts I have the same plan. Used the chat on the app. Rep said yes, I qualify. Needed a SIM card to add the line. I had one at home, so they said they could call me back.

First of all, whatever country they were calling me from had the longest delay on the call possible. I would basically say something and it would be literally 10 second later before I knew the rep heard what I said.

Second, there was literally a rooster going off in the background the entire time! I guess in whatever country they are, they're working from home.

The whole call took 1 hour, 20 minutes. The rep kept getting errors after putting me on hold---they said 3 to 5 minutes which turned out to be 10. However during those 10 minutes at least I got a break from hearing the rooster!

First she suggested changing to me to Magenta from T-Mobile One Plus All-In and I said no, forget that. Then she was trying something else like add a separate line completely.

At the end, I said forget it, but she said she would call me back today after she talks to her supervisor. She was fighting so hard to do this, I don't know if she is worried that she'll be penalized by bad customer feedback if she doesn't get the line added. But she didn't want to drop it.

After I got off the call, I looked up my SOC code and compared to the screen shot. I see my code, FRLTUL2LP is not in the list so I'm fine with that.

I can't understand how T-Mobile thinks its a good idea to have 1 hour 20 minute customer service calls with a rooster in the background. If they simply trained their reps to look up the SOC code in the list as the first step they could handle their customers much more quickly.

Any lines dropped in the past 90 date have to be added back in before being eligible for the free line promo, so no that wouldn't work.

No. (adding to what Arkus said) Promos are designed to give you more, without you paying less. It would be a rare and unintentional effect to pay less per month. At some given point, it makes sense to move services/vendors to regain the 'pay less' advantage, and begin the value-adds/promos over again.

Signed up several years ago on Black Friday when they had they 2 + 2 On Us deal for $120. then a couple months later they had the 1 Get One Free Deal (just like now) which brought me to 5 for $120. Then they had a Add One Get One deal which brought me to 7 for $140. Now add in this deal which is now 8 for $140.
Did you stay on Simple Choice or moved to ONE?

I am on a similar Simple Choice Plan, I'm paying for 4 lines, but had 6 and now 7 lines, $120+Tax.

They gave me Unlimited Data on all my existing lines, it shows 10GB on new line, though I have never used more than 3GB on any line.

HTH.

Why do you want to get this 4th free line b/c your plan price will increase? Are you ok with that b/c free = $16-20 increase. Do you need the 4th line or do you have some other things in mind for the future?
