How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

In that case, I stand corrected. I called csr before and ask to payoff my phone so i can trade it to new iphone. he said i can do that but im gonna loose my remaining monthly credit. So I guess he misunderstand me or he just didnt know.
I have three phones I bought a year ago that I paid off the EIP and still have the bill credits trickling in. I confirmed over the weekend with Tforce this is still the case with new EIPs but the rep suggested to wait until everything shows up on the first bill before paying it off.

Data point: I placed an order online Saturday at 9am PST and my line just activated when the SIM shipped Monday around 3pm PST.
Wanted to add that I just received the promo confirmation text half an hour later:

T-Mobile message: Congrats! You will receive your promotional service discount as long as you maintain eligibility. View http://t-mo.co/activity for account details.

My fiance is on her own Tmobile plan, can I add her to my family plan without her losing her phone number?
Yes, definitely possible. There's going to be some type of "transfer of ownership" of the number that happens ... go into a store and have them assist.

If you want her number to simply take over an existing line, such as the new free line from this deal, another option to look into is to just port it out to a cheap prepaid and port it back into the free line on your account.

If I add a free voice line with this, will it have unlimited data like my other 3 lines? I don't need the ONE Plus International on this extra line. Just trying to understand what the voice line will give me.
The free line will be equivalent to everything that originally came with the line.

So say you had unlimited voice and text with 3GB data included. Your free line should be exactly like that. If you purchase add on data with your plan (a higher tier), that will not be free.

At least that is how it went down with me. My plan was not included on the list of plans from this post. But the free line showed up as $0.00. I never received a text saying I got this promotion though.

Question on 5G that I recognize nobody can answer for certain but I'd love a guess from someone who understands how the technology works (I clearly don't): the coverage map looks like the 5G signal isn't available at my house (I get full LTE), but the 5G area ends within about 2 miles from me as best I can tell. I have a direct view of the cell tower from my yard (it's on top of a mountain that my house faces - I'm in a rural area). Is it possible that the signal extends a little further than the coverage map shows?

Yeah, i got two text messages. One was exactly this one, and after that I could see the line listed on my account. I had 4 lines before, and it started showing 5. And then i got the second text saying something like, "your 2020 oneplus activation promo is now avilable as long you maintain eligibility. ". After that, my account shows the new device Oneplus8, the EIP payment of 14.98 , and a credit of 14.99 for the billing cycle. The only thing i dont have is any shipping notice, neither for the phone nor the sim. The order status shows blank.

Like hottie says, cannot cancel ANY lines for a year. The idea is to hook you, and further, at no cost to them (ie, you will not pay less, at least for a year). I've been with TMO for many years, so I'm not going anywhere, but if you want to potentially leave, you are better off getting your devices from Costco, where the terms/rebates are more forgiving, and you can be more 'mobile' as a result.
Gotcha, thanks. I don't plan on leaving but I do want to eventually switch over to the free line and cancel my primary line. Guess I'll wait a year before doing so.

I was told that they will send a SIM to activate the line then once it is active you can change/ port-in a number. You should confirm with a rep though since the two reps we spoke to gave us generally conflicting information!

It is totally possible you will get it. 5g signal coverage is crap shoot at this point. I live in the san jose area in CA, and I get 5g at my home, but i have checked while roaming around, and it switches between LTE and 5g in different areas. I have seen 5g in areas i would think it wouldnt have, and it switch to LTE in areas i clearly thought should be 5g. I have a s20 ultra 5g phone.

Did anyone else get confirmation from TForce that you can do the XS or 11 promo on SC plans? I was told I could on my NAFUTT4 plan, so went ahead and ordered one, now I'm hearing the SC plans are actually not? I did have the guy confirm over the phone, as well as type it out in twitter that I was eligible.

Anyone by chance have their line added with the NAFUTT4 plan? I don't have the SIM or phone yet, but I see the line in my account. It shows the $20 discount so that's cool. And a temporary assigned number.

The only odd thing is that while the data is indeed the 10 GB plan, it does not show an option for the free unlimited data like all of my other 6 phone lines. Is this the same for others that got a free line on NAFUTT4? Thanks.
I have NAFUTT4 and my free line just showed up today.
The unlimited data option also shows up to select for it.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. The texts are a great sign!
