Back on topic. Seiko makes a fine quartz chronograph, for those who appreciate what a true chronograph is. I'm sure this model is a fine specimen. dkagarwa, the picture is clearly taken right of center (you can see the right side of the case, but not the left). That "misalignment" appears to be a parallax error, not a QC issue.
Point taken about the oddball 21mm lug width however. That is annoying.

But the picture shows the second hand off of 12 which may not be a good sign (if that is something that gets under your skin).
May also want to consider band width is 21 mm, which makes finding alternative straps more challenging.
