This desk looks like an ergonomic nightmare. Who designed that thing? Looks like it was made out of weird leftover parts. Sure, it is dirt cheap, but perhaps it is because it is trash even before you take into account built-quality? Just saying...
Do yourself or your kids a favor and get a simple, flat desk.
Is this an indication that homeschooling is becoming the new normal for everyone? Is it time for parents to put on their teacher's hat?
Yeah. I'm sure it's going to be home schooling again this year and it sucks as someone who has to work at home. It's basically impossible to be productive to your job and try to be your kids teacher especially when you have multiple kids. The last thing they want to do is sit by themselves and do school work.

You're right; I'm not sure why you're getting downvoted. The desk is indeed an ergonomic disaster and severely restricts the movement and positioning of your right arm and shoulder. If you spend consider amounts of time sitting at the desk, this might cause your muscle fibers to shorten and your right shoulder to roll forward.
That aside, this desk is atrocious in quality. I had one many years ago and let them tell you guys - this thing is more or less cardboard pulp. Small amounts of liquid or moisture will quickly cause the surface to bubble and wrinkle. You're better off going to Ikea and picking up something more durable for the same amount of money.
