That's $50 statements credits in total.
Spend min $10+ each transaction .
Upto 10 times .
Spend at shop small shops , can buy GC and use it in future
Pls Support local small shops, many people retain their jobs☺️

Amex offering this after a long time may be last time they offer like 6+ years back to use upto 3 times .. best deal from Amex !!

Mostly all cards are eligible- limit 1 per person.

Only if your wife's card number is same as yours.
Amex gives different card numbers to my husband and daughter even if theirs are under my account.
If your wife has different card number, she should sign up for American express online and she will get separate Amex offers.

anyone figure out how to use to get useful stuff that not an overpriced local grocery store? does it work at neighborhood walmart or gas stations?..i dont feel like stimulating the economy just yet.also would preferably like a place that has self checkout or do it yourself gas station? this deal works for that or not really? need essentials..thanks

It's always safer to assume that you spend $10 PRE-tax to get the $5. Edited to say, NEVERMIND, I guess it's just the total without regard to how you got there.

no question asked and doesn't ask to see id also. some Asian grocery stores asked to see id and card. do 2 transactions and take stuffs out to the car. go back in and get in line at a different register/cashier, etc.. if they do ask, just tell them you doing shopping for someone. I'm sure that's not something unusual during this pandemic. Shop for the elderly, the neighbor, etc...

My map just came up with restaurants. I used the search tool to look up other places (medical offices, gardening centers, car wash place). It helps to use the specific name. Much more useful.

This is almost NEVER the case. Amex isn't going to check your spending on this to see if it was pre/post tax. All other deals tend to be based on the total.
