is this targeted offer? I do not see this on my card.
I don't think it's targeted. I think the offer is open to all. Not sure why it is not showing up on your card.If you saved the offer to one card, it will not appear on any of your other cards (except for Serve and BB). If you have an authorized user on your card, then you may be able to get the offer on the authorized user's card, too, You could always call American Express and inquire.

I have 2 cards and 2 logins. Seems they have now implemented a logic to activate offer only on one card.

One offer per card member. The consensus is that the logic is social security number. The only loophole may be branded cards and blue bird. But knowing Amex, they could claw it back.

With that being said - that the logic is social security number - then why is the offer still on my Am Ex Serve card (given that I have already loaded and redeemed the offer to the max redemption on my Am Ex Blue Cash Preferred card)?

My primary card and an authorized user card both have the offer. I brought take-out from a local Japanese restaurant that is not on AMEX map of the offer, split the bill and charged on both cards. Both cards got $5 AMEX credit.

Don't think it's possible but was anyone able to add this to a bank amex card? Like US Bank Amex or Wells Fargo Amex? I know it says authorized cardholders get the offer too...but it doesn't appear on my family member's amex account. Family member has a business account and the offer was added to their business card already, thought they were able to add the offer again to accts they were just the additional authorized cardholder of that are linked onto the same login but guess that's not possible. If the family member had a separate login for the acct they are an additional authorized cardholder of instead of the business acct login, would the offer popup?

there is a grocery store nearby counted as small business; however, it is not easy to ask cashier to check out 10 times separately, especially under this covid-19 environment. what do you plan to do to take advantage of this deal?

Is anyone using their Serve card for this? I noticed all pending charges from restaurants have a greater hold amount than the purchase price. I assume this it to include a 20% tip. Maybe because it's a prepaid card? It doesn't do that on my regular Amex credit/charge cards. I thought one restaurant overcharged me on a pickup order the other day but the receipt showed the correct amount.

Thats good, I purchased from a Asian market thats listed on the map and haven't received credit for it 2x. Seems like hit or miss if it will credit or not.

I used my serve card a grocery store and the pending charge was higher than the amount of the transaction, was weird but when it cleared it was the correct amount.

Who pays for the 5 bucks, amex or the small business?
I'm going to a particular rstaurant to support them during this time, I would not want them to have to pay for it.
