This will decode/play atmos fine and downmix it to 5.1. Did you think because its only 5.1 and not more than that with atmos that it wont play the track? Atmos is extension of truehd (metadata) and this thing plays truehd. a atmos track will play fine
And what does Dolby Vision have to do with speakers? its video related. this receiver should pass it through to the compatible dolby vision tv just fine

I have Sony STR-DH790 (7.2ch) on order since Memorial Day (still waiting for stock at ABT.com) for less than $280 after cashback and promo codes. Now this shows up. Only 5.1 but has network capabilities... Not sure what to do....
