I'm also looking for advice on how not to piss off the wife with large SD purchases.

Nope. Total crap brand. Long story short, they took my money, 4 weeks later .... said out of stock, then took 4 days to process my refund. Dumpster fire of a company. I think they oversell over priced thi gs on clearance to finance their operations. Saw several similar reports. (Your money is cheaper than short term loan)
Did you get yours? I had my order cancelled after a month.
