This or newest XPS 13? I would get better deal with dell credits and amex offer but just wondering if anyone owned both how they compare?

Xps all day. The 9300 is amazing and has thunderbolt 3 which should make it age better.

How do these compare to regular laptops? Do they generate heat less? Lighter? I have a aging y700 that's too heavy to move around and use on the bed.
