I was looking for a higher output nightlight that also looked nice, for my living room - not the easiest task I found out. I ended up finding this brushed nickel GE the other day that puts out 100 lumens and is also dimmable. Amazon apparently dropped the price from about $14. Walmart still wants $14 for it. Oh, and another big deal is it's compact and only covers one outlet (some cover both wall outlets in a traditional receptacle).

Save energy and money with the UltraBrite Dimmable LED Night Light from GE. This dimmable night light features light-sensing technology, which automatically turns on at dusk and off at dawn. The energy-efficient UltraBrite Dimmable LED Night Light from GE features full range dimming so you can select from soft white up to 100 lumens, long-life LED bulbs that stay white and bright, while always being cool to the touch. This night light is ideal for hallway, stairs, bathroom, kitchen, garage, utility room, laundry room and more. Comes with a limited-lifetime.
  • Adjustable Brightness – Use the slider on the front of the night light dim or brighten the light output from soft white to ultra-bright, light adjusts from 0 up to 100 lumens
  • Automatic On/Off – Light-sensing technology automatically turns the night light on at dusk and off at dawn
  • LED Light – Long-life LEDs are cool to the touch and there is no need to replace any bulbs. Stays white, stays bright.
  • Compact Design– The night light plugs into any standard outlet while leaving the 2nd outlet free for use
  • Safety Certified – This night light is UL-listed and backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Fifty cents off and people are stocking up like it's Prime Day.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The camels say it's been $9.50 for months.

EDIT: Nvm, I see an error in the linky I used at C3. It's the white variant that's been $9.50.

Humble apologies.

Regular price was $13.99, same as Walmart.

So isn't an ultrabrite (sic) nightlight, just a light?

I have one like this, and it is bright and it is great, just 2 things:
1. mine is motion sensor, which I love; it doesn't look like this one is.
2. it's too wide for a 2-gang box (4 plugs) so when plugged in only 2 of the 4 can now be used, which is a problem if you have curling irons and blow-dryers...

Fyi GE is a Chinese company if that means anything to you. General Electric sold off that division to a Chinese company.
