    If you use this product frequently, a much better deal is to buy Bifen IT [amazon.com] (for indoors or outdoors) or Bifen XTS (has oils in it so it lasts longer outdoors, but should not be used indoors). They have the same active ingredient. Bifen is expensive initially, but super concentrated so one jug will likely last you for years. It's what the pros use and you can mix it to whatever power you need to kill whatever bugs you're after. Read the reviews on Amazon to see how effective it is. You'll have to mix it with water and either use a handheld sprayer, pump/backpack sprayer or hose-end sprayer. It's a great general insect killer with residual effect (the Bifen XTS residual lasts about a month outside for me in the Midwest with a good amount of rain, but Bifen IT won't last as long outside). And if you get one of these super concentrated Bifen products vs the Home Defense one, it'll more economically make gallons and gallons of solution that you can even use to spray all your shrubs, tall grasses and weeds to kill mosquitos. Much better deal than Home Defense on a per gallon basis.

    Is that the going price nowadays? Last time I bought this it was about $5 for a gallon at Home Depot. Couldn't have been much longer than 3 or 4 years ago.

    Just had the hand trigger pump sprayer but I think I prefer that.

    What is the type they say is 'safe' indoor and outdoor, dries fast and ok around pets and kids? We had a 'spider man' we used for years that moved and he said all his stuff was safe. Would that be this stuff? Sorry for being vague, if I knew what it was I'd explain it better.
