Oneplus 7T 128GB for $150 + tax from T-Mobile with previous free line activated deal YMMV

Ok, I'm going to try to explain this deal as best as I can.

So I was bummed that my Simple Choice plan on T-mobile didn't qualify for the iPhone 11 on us deal at T-Mobile that required a trade-in, new line and port in.

They offered me the usual 50% off iPhone SE or OnePlus 8, etc but wasn't worth it for me. Then I noticed while browsing other deals I qualified for, they had the OnePlus 7T for $350 off with new line activation (no trade-in required).

The phone is $499.99 new, so with the $350 off, it comes out to $149.99, with tax on the original price.

The reason why it's YMMV is because anywhere online, I wasn't able to buy the phone. Instead of a purchase button, there was a "call 1-800-tmobile" button. Spoke to customer service and they said the phone is out of stock, don't know if they're ever going to restock since it's an older model phone (which is ridiculous because it only came out last September).

But then they said that if any of my local T-Mobile stores had them, I could go in and purchase it there and still take advantage of the deal. And I tripled checked to make sure that even though I added the free line over the weekend (with the crazy free line offer everyone should already know about), that the line would still qualify as the "with new line activation" needed for the OnePlus 7T offer. They said yes, I took screenshots. So I called 4 T-Mobiles around me, none had it, the 5th store I called had one in stock. Drove there just now and bought it.

Paid a little over $44 for the tax, the rest is financed via EIP. So the $499.99 financed, T-Mobile should be giving me a $350 credit on that, bringing the total for the phone to $149.99 plus $44ish tax.

Of course, you have to pay every month for 24 months, but customer service also said you can pay off the phone early and the credit will be taken off your bills every month until the 24 months is over (in case you wanna sell the phone).

The phone is a beast and a steal at this price. Here are the specs:

Body: 160.94 x 74.44 x 8.13 mm, 190g, 3D Gorilla Glass frosted back side,
Screen: 6.55" Fluid AMOLED, 90hz, 2400 x 1080 px, 20:9 aspect ratio; 402ppi
Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+; Octa-core (1x2.96 GHz Kryo 485 & 3x2.42 GHz Kryo 485 & 4x1.78 GHz Kryo 485); Adreno 640
Memory: 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 3.0 dual-lane storage
OS: OxygenOS based on Android 10
Rear cameras: Main: Sony IMX586 48MP (f/1.6) 0.8µm pixel size, PDAF, OIS, EIS; Telephoto: 12MP (f/2.2) 1.0µm pixels; Ultra wide: 16MP (f2.2) 117-degree field of view
Front camera: Sony IMX471 16MP, 1.0µm pixel size
Battery: 3,800 mAh battery, Warp Charge 30W
Misc: Alert slider, stereo loudspeakers, NFC, in-display fingerprint scanner, USB-C 3.1 port, available in Frosted Silver and Glacier Blue.

Hopefully I explained this well, let me know if you have any questions! Stay safe everyone!

**Just want to edit to confirm that even if you didn't add a free line yet, that promotion is still going on as well, so basically you can add that free line then purchase this phone with that added line all at the same time.

Monthly credits always is a deal breaker as you can't get another T-Mobile phone deal on that particular line you used on.

it requires a "new line" but if you just created a new line with the deal that was live over the weekend, it would work for that line. if you didn't create a new line over the weekend, you have to add an additional line for this deal.

How were you able to take screen shots as proof, because I want proof too before going through this effort. Based on your post it looks like you called in so I'm not sure where you would get screen shots from...
"Instead of a purchase button, there was a "call 1-800-tmobile" button. Spoke to customer service and they said the phone is out of stock... They said yes, I took screenshots."

Sorry, to clarify I called them and then chatted with them for more details and so that I could have written proof. Here's the screenshot if it helps you! (Adding it to the post)
