So no more grocery 5x? Just if through instacart? That is bs.

They are lucky I renewed in March... If my renewal was now I would have canceled. Big thumbs down.

What's the annual fee on this card? I have the preferred card. What's the best card to move to now? Travel rewards aren't that attractive with covid. These huge annual fees are ridiculous. Lots of cards cut benefits like extended warranty and price matching. Any recommendations?
It's $550 now but I think they've been waiving the extra $100 due to covid-19. I'm not 100% sure.

That's indeed the case, however many members who had annual fee come up in Jan-Feb were not so lucky.

I don't see much value here, unless there is a way to buy gift cards at gas stations (for Amazon, Ebay, etc) then I would load up and max out the $1500. Anyone have tips on which gas stations would be best for me to check? Furthermore, does anyone know if 711 codes as Gas Station with Chase? TIA!

instacart charge about 20% mark up + sevices fees , even if doing membership, so 5 points does not cover it.

2. when shopper cant find an item (out of stok, for example), system will still charge for it. shopper didnt know how to credit. so it takes a phone call, and after 40 min rep said he couldnt credit card charged (your credit card for some reason doesnt allow a refund") , and instead would credit for a future purchase - charing my card and holding my money hostage for future shopping. What if i dont feel like paying again 20% mark up?

Hope someone at instacart takes this into heart.

It is not a business practice for 2020.

Does anyone know if HBO Max will count as a streaming service? It didnt on the Chase Freedom last month which is unfortunate.

7/11 is coded as gas. You can buy visa gift cards. But it's hit or miss depending on the cashier.

COMPLETELY AGREE!!!!
Instacart are straight THIEVES!!!
Charged my card for $250 for $80 worth of food and it took 2 months and 2 disputes with Amex to get it straigtened out. One and done with this company
I don't know if the delivery kid took the extra food and thought I was not going to check or what but it was ridiculous. The BEST was when they asked for "Pictures of the items that were not delivered in order to receive credit." Um, WHAT? Confused

They didn't up the annual fee on renewals until 4/1/20 and it has been waived since then. New signups this year are and continue to be $550.
