Even on sale those prices are ridiculous for what you get. Still, I'm sure there are plenty of folks who shop pre-built that will appreciate the large discount.

Lmao @ that MSRP HAHAHAHA!
- 9th Gen i7 CPU
- Windows 10 Pro
- GTX 1660Ti
- 512GB SSD
- 16GB RAM
In what world does that cost 2 grand?!
It shouldn't even be legal for them to make up these absurd, over-inflated prices. So shady.

Is this a joke posting? These prices are a ripoff. Dell raised the MSRP and applied a so called discount. Screw Dell. I'd love to upgrade at some point but I'm in no hurry.

Dell has been pulling this shady business with raising supposed "original" prices during sales for a while now. This kind of disrespect for their customers (alongside my last dell laptop overheating) is what pushed me to buy Asus instead this time around.

I'd be impressed if you could find a legit copy of Windows 10 Pro for $2 on ebay.

Not defending Dell here as these prices aren't great at all, but a $2 Windows 10 license (Especially a pro one) is never going to be legit.

for the price, it is not a bad deal.
same computer is $649.99 at amz, and vostro is their business line so the quality has been better/sturdier than their consumer line in the past.. not sure if that has changed or not.

I really wish it was $500 though

I agree this is not a great price at Dell, but come on. Leaving aside a pirated $2 Windows "license", what about a case and power supply - at least $100 together? What about value of time? Warranty?

PS The $120 i5 you mentioned is the no-GPU model ('f') requiring a discrete graphics card.

Inflate prices by 40% then cut it by 45%. Call it a sale.
