you can get free digital access by using Adam's bypass paywalls ad-on for firefox and chrome

https://github.com/iamadamdev/byp.../README.md

Thanks, have been waiting for a deal on the economists.

Anyone knows if I can get the digital delivery right away or it has to wait till the physical delivery start first?

Just here to share my personal negative experience with DiscountMags. Over the course of several orders, I received a fraction of the issues I was owed, and in some cases I received no issues at all. Customer service responded to emails but only refunded a portion of what I deserved and it wasn't worth it to me to keep fighting it. In some cases the address of the magazines was correct, and in others from the same order it was missing the apt number so the magazines only arrived if the mail carrier knew where to put them. Customer service took no responsibility for the address errors and I missed the majority of those issues.

So buyer beware, I'll never order from them again.

Were you talking to CS at the actual magazine, or CS at DiscountMags?

Once the subscription is active with the publisher (when you are able to locate your sub via the customer service portal on the magazine specific website, or you start to receive issues in the mail) - the best place to start when needing customer service, is with the publisher of the specific magazine (not DM).

Were you able to log into your magazine subscription account at the specific magazine website/s (not DM website) and look at your mailing address for your subscription? Possibly if you were able to do that, you could have updated your address with the publisher directly to make sure the Apt # was showing correctly.

It's too bad you had a negative experience...I've been using DM for over 10 years for my many of my own subscriptions, subscriptions for others etc and overall I've had a really positive experience.

You will need to wait for your subscription to be active with The Economist. There will be a delay after you order where DM processes your order, and sends it to the publisher. You don't need to wait to receive your first issue in the mail to activate your digital access, but it will likely be a few weeks before you're able to access your subscription on the Economist website, and activate digital content.

You will need to first register at Economist.com and search for your subscription information, once you can see your subscription details, you will see your CRN#. You need the CRN# to activate the digital content.

The CRN# will be on your mailing label, but you should be able to see your account information once the subscription is active in their system. If it's been a few weeks after you've ordered, and you still cannot locate your subscription at the Economist website, reach out to CS at The Economist, they will happily assist you (email, live chat etc).

Register and Activate Digital Access
