Any thoughts on why the "normal" price per amzn for the white one is more than double that for the gray one (i.e. making the white version an apprently better deal)? Just wondering if I'm missing something besides the color?

We have this Ikea set, unfinished so no worries about paint coming off. It's taken so much abuse and I haven't had to re-tighten screws in the 2 years I've had it. It's been pretty solid!

Lol yes avg price recently has been $37.20 but looking at the graph it's usually above $40 close to $50. The highest it's been was $69.99.

This is super close to the lowest price it's been, which was $33.18, so good deal.

Only 2 stars on fakespot though, but I bought anyway.

For future reference, you don't need good tech skills to find this out haha. To see price history on amazon products just go type camel 3 times in a row dot com. They don't allow you to post the site name here for some reason but the word "camel" three times dot com.

At least going by pics for $3+ more and free shipping/return, and not having to go to an IKEA during COVID19, the Amazon one looks like the wood legs are thicker than IKEA. A few reviews indicate 165lbs on amazon one is possible on the chairs so hoping adults can sit with kiddo once in a while.

Trend really. Even white cables or chargers are more expensive than other colors. White or light colored furniture just looks more modern compared to "espresso" from years ago.
