Thanks for posting! I'm not quite sure if this is low enough for me yet as it was $299 the last sale. I'll mull it over and see how I feel. They do have a 7 year warranty. That might be enough to push me over the edge.

if you plan on using it daily i would not let 20$ hold me back. i would want to own it as soon as possible to start making smoothies and what not.

i bought mine 5 years ago and still use it almost daily.

Did the $299 deal come with 7 year warranty? I agree with mannyi... $20 is not too much to wait on this. The Vitamix warranty is amazing. No automated message BS. You get a support agent directly and they will ship you a replacement in 2 days.

Eh my Oster still works fine and I like that it's glass and I can unscrew the blade for easy cleaning. I don't mind if my berry smoothies have a couple of unchopped raspberry seeds or oatmeal fragments. I know what price point I'm looking for on which models. I can wait. I can't argue with the warranty service and customer support being top notch though. I wouldn't consider spending more than $50 on a blender unless it was a vitamix. I will say I'd be interested in a model with a blade/gasket setup that I can screw and unscrew into place, like their smaller containers have. They'll never do it, but just saying.

I did learn one thing after researching blenders though. They like to be run on high. I thought I was doing my Oster a favor by running it on low. Nope. Once I maxed it out my satisfaction of my cheapo blender went way up.

Yea but I don't feel it's worth it at $340, plus the pca doesn't ever have good reviews which is a bummer

Well these extra containers and the adapter are going for fairly good prices on ebay so maybe I can justify this one. I don't want to get the three speed one I just posted because my cabinets have exactly 18.25 inches of clearance, enough for the low profile containers with a rubber sound absorbing mat but not the standard narrow container of the three speed. Of course if I want to utilize costco for a return I can't very well sell off the small containers. laugh out loudLMAO

$599.99. Think it was on sale for $499.99 back in May. Waiting myself for it to go back to that price or lower.
