Doorbuster deal,
starts 07/08 @ 11AM ET. Great specs for the price. I don't know what Dell understands as a WVA Display. Chances are, it may be an IPS screen.

Features say "1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C with Data Transition Only (with discrete version only)"
But i don't see it on the ports&features section of the body description.
(discrete version).
This may limit expand-ability in future
Also note "The maximum resolution supported by this HDMI port is 1920x1080."
Not that you will be gaming on here, but bare in mind you'll never get 4K from this even externally

Every mid-high end mobo is coming out with 2.5gbE as standard. A typical 7200RPM HDD can perform sequential writes near gigabit speed.
Please do tell how gigabit is not dated. LMFAO.

Seeing it as a optional feature per dell's website.
Acceptable-to-most build, performance, and display for under 450 makes this the 2nd deal of its kind next to the costco hp that sold out very quickly. That was cheaper but this is faster. This might be the one for me -- still weighing between this and the zenbook deal, which yields slightly better build (unconfirmed but likely) display (same) and performance (for sure) for 120 more.
It might come down to form factor for me, have to decide between 15 average or 14 slim
I've got the Latitude 5501 which has basically the same screen and it's awful. My coworker and I use the same computer. We both have issues with sleep also. It'll be fully charged at night, 40% in the morning. No amount of tweeting the settings seems to help. It's a flaming POS that has massive keyboard flex, a small trackpad and a screen that u think is broken it's so dim.
I mean, you could be right about the Latitude, but what does it have to do with this Inspiron?
1) I know this has a SSD, but can I also add a 2nd 2.5 inch HDD for things like photos, movies, and music?
2) Do you have to get lucky to get in on these doorbusters from Dell before they sell out. I'm planning to buy right when it goes live on Thursday, but nervous it might be tough.
Thanks!
