Safety definitely floats to the top. These appear to be ETL Listed. Meets industry safety standards.
I've been eyeballing some at HD and the Utilitechs at Lowes and this one came up. I definitely value the name brands at the big box stores for something like this. 3 Eatons or 12 of these... ridiculous mark-up on the eatons and/or slapdash quality on these or reasonable markup... who knows...
For those that only look at the price and markdown, you can get comparable products WITH the screw in light socket adapter base from Lowe's. My parents are redoing their can lights right now and when I showed them this deal, they said the price was comparable to what they have been buying already on sale. Theirs dim, have the optional screw in adapter, and are name brand. I would pass on these unless you feel the small savings are worth rolling the dice

These are canless... if cans are already installed, there is the screw in option. If cans aren't already installed, these canless ones are a great option.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Fakespot: F reanalyzed into a B.
Very shady.
This is a completely different animal. I put 12 of the elsneor? brand in my garage (1050lm each) and it was awesome. I borrowed a laser from a friend and mapped out the ceiling and cut. No need to worry about the trusses or anything as they are the thickness of the drywall. My garage is symmetrical with lighting and it makes it look a million times better having everything in line. Cans protrude into the space above making them more difficult to map out the layout because you have to take into account the placement of the trusses.
The only thing that I see about these that I do not like is they don't have the quick connectors on them. also they are only 900lm.
You're right. I apparently don't know how to read anymore. Thanks for checking me on that
Haha.....reading your post and I thought Homedepot bent me over last year when I paid $50 for a pack of 2 but I needed them right away. The HD ones had a light changing feature that I never bother to use. These ones are really cheap. Might get them for future uses.
