i don't know which nvidia card you have, but if it's pretty decent, i would personally recommend going with a g-sync (or g-sync compatible) monitor.

I have a 2080 super. Looking for a good gsync monitor. I am also addicted to fps type games

newer nvidia cards are compatible with free sync. i have a free sync viewsonic monitor and my nvidia card with gsync works just fine with it.

this is g sync compatible. It also almost doesn't matter anymore.
What's the difference? Nvidia supports freesync now
