No. The fact that it is even "mixed" results is a bad sign.
It's legit it worked for me
There's no way. From a financial point of view, they make too much profit from PSN not only through subscriptions, but also "sales." For example, 70% off a game with PSN which makes people buy through the PlayStation store instead of places like GameStop. Same reason the "digital" version of PS5 is priced lower. They make more money from online services/sales.
