    Does this come with a remote? They have another one that stipulates "with Remote" in it's title. Elsewhere on the page of this deal it states that Oscillating fans include a remote.

    Doesn't come with remote, but work well with Alexa. "Alexa, turn on fan" Wink

    Very flimsy blade and poor construction compared to Lasko fans from a few years ago. Bought one last fall, put it together and turned it on. Nothing happened. Took it back and exchanged it. The second one worked for about 3 minutes before it died. Went back to the store again. CSR said these were being returned en masse because they often did not work for long at all

    The good news is, if you have a a plug that is controlled by a light switch, it will work, unlike the remote controlled ones.
    Also if you hook it to a motion detector, it too should work.
    Sometimes simpler is better in a device.

    My favorite is the lasko fan from Costco I bought 9 years ago. it worked great unless you adjust them while the blade is spinning. It will smashed against the enclosure, and the blade will break after a few times from that.
    Good news is, Costco returned my item.

    These fans are trash. On the highest setting you can barely feel it from 6 ft away.

    The one I got made a horribly loud rubbing noise. Returned it and haven't gotten anything to replace it yet.
