Same price on Amazon here:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RCNHTLS/

The camels say it was around $60 this past winter (lowest of $56) and $60 again early April.

Yes, has been cheaper. I'm not paying $70 for this unit.

Lately, there have been very few deals on IPs.

I've been noticing a lack of deals on 8qt. I had an 8 qt fagor lux that just died and I don't think I could scale down. Using my trusty manual one for now it's just not quite set and walk away as I'd like.

We have Duo and am looking for one. Hoping it'll last until Thanksgiving for Black Friday Deals. Steam is starting to make a loud noise and I have to reset it when it does.

Hope there are 8 QT deals soon!

Instant Pot is just a brand of an electric pressure cooker, much the same as a Crock Pot is a brand of a slow cooker.

The electric pressure cookers are much safer and easier to use than previous generations of the metal pressure cookers with the floating/rocking knobs on the top; with that said, the Instant pot does not generate enough pressure to use for canning/processing. That's about the only limitation of the electric pressure cooker.

Is the Nova better than the original Duo? The feature set says yes but it seems to have more complaints.

I have the regular one. Duo nova has blue display and old one has red digital display on black background. This is the only difference as far as I know. Some people say red digits are more visible than blue display when you try to see the display from a distance.
