Does anyone know if these would work well with an Xbox one? Usually console headsets come with some type of receiver

Edit: I looked it up and can use the headphones in wired mode, but Wireless will not work with the Xbox One

I found them to be unusable for Xbox. The headset sounds great, but there is no way to mute the mic (the mic mute button on the headset does not work while using with xbox) and the noisegate can not be adjusted. If I had the volume on my headset at lower than a comfortable gaming volume my friends could hear my game sound coming out of the headphone and being picked up by the microphone. My friend bought me a new headset because he was so tired of playing with me while I used my Nari headset.

I'm in the market for a wireless headset but haven't been looking closely at sales/deals. The Amazon listing for these also include several other models/versions so sorting for the essential only is kind of a pain but when I did that the reviews were 50/50 on whether people liked them or hated them. Issues I saw:

Software was buggy
Build quality could be iffy

Anybody have these?

For comparison I'm using a wired/usb adapter pair right now:
Logitech G430 (blue w/usb) ~$25 - $35

Previously for wireless I had:
Plantronics Gamecon P80 - $5 after rebate (broke the transmitter)

Looking to buy a quality wireless headset but not sure this one is it.

I ended up going through wal-mart to get this, same price but in stock now with a quicker ship time to my location.

If you have the controller mic adapter, it has a mute button on it which would make it a bit more tenable. That is an extra expense, though.

I have the g430 when it was on clearance at Walmart for $20. I like them. Sound is clear and with pretty good bass. However, if you use it for xbox you gotta buy a y splitter and the 7.1 sound won't work without the usb part. So you lose the 7.1 surround sound via y splitter for xbox.

Oh, forgot to mention I'm on PC. The G430 works fine for me but looking to get another wireless headset for couch gaming.

Yeah there are unfortunately very few headsets that work with Xbox one wirelessly. Steel series has a $100 and premium $200 wireless choices for Xbox. Astro A20 is also a decent choice if you want wireless, I went with the Steelseries personally

I recently discovered that you can actually use any PC headset for chat on Xbox using the 'Xbox Console Companion' app for Windows 10 (not to be confused with the Xbox app, which I did not have the same success with). This saved me from having to buy a more expensive headset, and let me use my nice wireless PC one.

Instructions if they aren't obvious enough:
- Download the companion app to your Win10 laptop/desktop
- Connect your headset to your PC and select the correct audio option in the app
- Start your chat via the PC app, and play on your Xbox

Hopefully someone will find this helpful, I definitely appreciated this discovery.

Thanks for posting the deal OP; I don't plan to get it, but thumbs up for the find!
