There's a more traditional single-handled version that also comes in a 2-pack for $2.99, that you can opt for on the product page. That said, given that all the other tongue scrapers are double or triple the price, I have to wonder hos good this one is.

I bought it last month and have been using it daily. I really like it. Great quality IMO. Has a "sharp" enough edge to scrape effectively without cutting my tongue. The metal has held up well so far. I use an Efferdent tab to clean it after each use. I attached a pic of the actual item here.

I also bought the single-handled version you mentioned that is also on the page. The scrape edge is tiny and I wouldn't recommend it. It still works, but I much prefer the two-handled version, it's a lot more efficient.

Can it be used with one hand? I'm more used to the single-handle type. My plastic one just broke and I need a replacement.

I was about to say no, its for 2 hands...but I just went and tried it with one hand to be sure, and it's actually better with one hand. the handles flex in when you grab it with one hand and it fits in the hand well. I will be using 1 hand from now on. Sad I didn't figure this out sooner.

Glad I could be of help. Do you find that this style works better than the 1-handle kind?

I prefer it over the single handle versions I have used bc of the larger scrape area this one covers. The edge is also a bit finer/sharper than the plastic ones I have used in the past so I find this one to be both more efficient and effective.

Thanks. I'd already ordered the 2-pack of the single-handle one but I might get the double ones as well. Too bad they don't sell a 2-pack with one of each.

I bought this and the more traditional one as well and I prefer the 2 handled one. It works really well, better than any plastic one I have used in the past.

Didn't Fonzie tell Richie Cunningham to brush his tongue after brushing his teeth, back in the 70s? How does nobody know to do this?

Seriously, what are people licking that they need this?
Clean your tongue once with something like this and you'll know why it's a thing. Your tongue is pretty dirty, even after brushing.

Tongue cleaning is also a part of good oral hygiene. But looks like you are not aware and don't even care.
