People on Amazon report the OP is terrible and extremely hard to connect in the US. For me, $65 is not worth the gamble.

I'd bought Robot one a couple months ago for $100. it took me and my little daughter a few days put it together.. the build quality is comparable to lego. it's fun and well worth the money. I have no trouble to download the app and use on my phone and tablet. At this price I am buying another one.

this thing retails for CNY499 in China, so $70 approx, which makes this a fairly good deal if you're into this kind of stuff, considering shipping and all. I have multiple smart gadgets from xiaomi, and yes, their app can be difficult to connect at times due to the great firewall. But their toy series usually use a dedicated app that controls via Bluetooth or local WiFi, so I'm not overly concerned. In for one.
