I actually bought 3 used games yesterday with their buy 2 get 1. Thankfully i bought cheap ps4 vr games, the difference between this deal is only $1 less. Hopefully they work..none of the games I purchased are available locally.
make sure you pay by credit card so you can dispute if the games do not work. I wouldn't even try to return or replace via gamestop. You have to pay for shipping and there is a 50% chance that your return/replacement will not get processed.
It's a good deal but the last time I did this, I bought six games and half of them weren't playable and it was such a pain to exchange/return them.
So much this. Did the buy 4 get 50% off about a month ago and they were in junk condition. The reps were super nice but I JUST now got my refund and they didn't give it all. I had to email and then I got an apology and the rest of the money after bringing it up. Kind of sketchy.
None of these bundle deals are good deals. by the time you get to playing these games (if they're even playable), the prices elsewhere will be dramatically lower. Stop giving Gamestop money and let this company die, already.

You're lucky that they responded to your email! I've sent them 3 emails since April trying to get a $50 rewards code that I redeemed to work. Still haven't received any response! Horrible customer service!

I had to call lol. Two years ago, I got a "premium" refurbished wii. It looked like someone dragged sandpaper on it. They NEVER replied at all to any of my emails. Had to get paypal involved to get a response

They refurbish their devices with premium grade sandpaper. Sandpaper is the best way to remove all existing scuffs and stray marks throughout the device. Only downside is it'll create new scratches by this premium grade sandpaper lol, but at least there's no more scuffs or marks from the previous owner!!!

THis happened to be when their stores were all closed and I bought a used PS4 Pro. The controller came broken and gamestop wouldnt reply. I submitted a chargeback and got the ps4 pro for free.
I used to buy used games from gamestop all the time and never had issues, but the last 2 orders I've made each had issues. Multiple discs that were in good enough shape to boot the game, but failed when doing the install (PS4). For me, it's nor worth the hassle to save a few bucks

In your experience, when do you find out when a game is unplayable? Somewhere during installation or maybe halfway through the game? I needed to pick up a game to co-op with a buddy and ended up getting 6 for $15. I got the collector gene. I inspected them and they all look fine. I never had a problem with a disc dating back to the first Gen. You ever try one of those repair gizmos? Back when cars had cd players, I messed up my share of Disc's, and if my memory serves me, it worked, with the exception of deep scratches. I take care of my games, so I'd like to avoid buying duds. Thanks for any insight.

Before then had some good experiences. Reading these forums seems like that is common practice.
