20+% SYW points back on hotel reservations through ShopYourWayHotels.com
Sure SYW points have limited appeal, but there's a BIG discount if you can get to a Sears or KMart easily. Points can be spent online but you'll have to pay shipping.
I reserved a room for 2 nights in Blythe (yes, it was 114 degrees) , $132 total (before fees) through ShopYourWayHotels.com. The room rate was essentially the same at Bookings.com and Expedia.
We checked in on Saturday and received $30 back in points today, Thursday . About 23% back to spend at KMart or Sears. $102 total rooms were offered with $20.
There's a new option called "Boost". They charge you extra for the room but give you the money back as points. I could see this being useful if you're booking your own company travel. Maybe it's too risky.
